कथा - स्मरण भक्ति के आचार्य -

स्मरण भक्ति  के आचार्य श्री प्रहलाद जी है , प्रह्लाद जी भगवान विष्णु के परम भक्त थे , ये कश्यप वंश से ही थे ।इनके पिता कश्यप और दिती के पुत्र थे  ।   पुराणों में कथा ऐसी आती है । प्रह्लाद के पिता का नाम था हिरण्यकश्यप और माता श्री कयाधु जी , प्रह्लाद के पिता भगवान विष्णु से वैर करते थे क्योंकी भगवान विष्णु ने इसके छोटे भाई हिरण्याक्ष को वराह अवतार लेकर मार डाला था ।

 प्रह्लाद के तीन बड़े भाई और थे जिनके नाम थे - ह्लाद , अनुह्लाद  , संघह्लाद और सबसे छोटे थे श्री प्रह्लाद । तीन भाइयों को इन्द्र ने मार दिया था । प्रह्लाद जब गर्भ में थे तब नारद जी इनकी  माता कयाधु को लेकर अपने आश्रम पर गए और कयाधु को जो ज्ञान नारद ने दिया वही ज्ञान प्रह्लाद ने गर्भ में प्राप्त किया । इधर हिरण्यकश्यप तपस्या करके ब्रम्हा से वरदान प्राप्त करके लौटा और देखा की मेरे तीन पुत्रों को इन्द्र ने मार दिया ।

 अब सबसे छोटे पुत्र प्रह्लाद को बहुत प्यार करे । प्रहलाद को पढ़ने भेजा अपने विद्यालय में गुरु हैं श्री शुक्राचार्य के पुत्र शंडामर्क  , विद्यालय में प्रह्लाद को जो विद्या पढ़ाई जाती उस विद्या से उन्हें कोई काम ना रहता , जिस ज्ञान को नारद के द्वारा मां  के गर्भ में बैठकर सुन था उनको तो उसी में आनंद आता और नारायण का नाम जपते रहते , कुछ दिन बाद प्रह्लाद को पिता हिरण्यकश्यप ने सभा में बुलाया और पूछा बेटा क्या पड़ा तुमने विद्यालय में सुनाओ । 

तब प्रहलाद जी कहते हैं पिता जी जिस जीव के जीवन में हरी नाम उसका तो जीना ही पशु के समान है , सब केवल अंध कूप में गिरे जा रहे हैं । एक अंधे को पकड़ कर जैसे सारे अंधे कुएं में गिर जाते हैं ऐसे ही जो प्रभु मेरे नारायण के नाम को नहीं गाता वह सच्चा ज्ञान नहीं पाता और केवल अपने जीवन को व्यर्थ में गंवां देता है । इसीलिए पिता जी सभी को मेरे नारायण के नाम को गाना चाहिए आपको भी । 

इतना सुनते ही तो राक्षस रज हिरण्यकश्यप क्रोध से लाल हो गया और गुरु शंडा मर्क को बुलाकर कहा ये कैसी शिक्षा दी है तुमने मेरा बेटा नारायण का नाम लेता है । मेरे शत्रु का नाम स्मरण करता है , गुरुजी बोले महाराज हमने तो वही शिक्षा दी है जो अपने विद्यालय में दी जाती है , ना जाने ये प्रह्लाद कहाँ से नारायण की भक्ति सीख गया महाराज इस बार क्षमा करें अगली बार अच्छे से पढ़ाकर  लाऊँगा । हिरण्यकश्यप बोल ले जाओ इसको मेरे सामने से ।  प्रह्लाद जी पुनः विद्यालय में पढ़ने चले गए । 

आज विद्यालय में गुरु जी के ना होने से प्रह्लाद को कक्षा देखने का भार सौंफ दिया गया । प्रह्लाद जी बोले असुर बालकों को आज में तुम्हें ऐसी शिक्षा दूंगा जिससे तुम्हारा जन्म सफल हो जाएगा , प्रहलद जी ने भगवान नाम जप स्मरण आदि की बातें बताई । असुर बालक बोले प्रहलाद यह क्या पढ़ा रहे हो अगर महाराज को पता चल गया तो बड़ा अनर्थ हो जाएगा । प्रह्लाद बोले महाराज जब मेरा कुछ न बिगाड़ सके तो तुम सबका भी कोई बाल वांका नहीं कर सकता और विद्यालय में असुर बालकों को उपदेश दिया और कीर्तन करने लगे  सब के सब । 

 इतने में गुरुजी आ गए बोले क्या हो रहा है ये सब महाराज को पता चला तो तुम सबन के साथ हमारे प्राण भी संकट में आ जाएंगे । कुछ समय बाद प्रह्लाद को फिर से सभा में बुलाया गया , पिता हिरण्यकश्यप ने पूछा बेटा क्या पढे सुनाओ तो प्रह्लाद ने इस बार नवधा भक्ति सुनादी , बोले पिता जी इस बार तो नौ मार्ग सीख कर आया हूँ नारायण के चरणों मे जाने के लिए , इनमें से कोई एक भी पकड़ ले तो भी वह नारायण भगवान को प्राप्त कर लेगा ।  पिता को बहुत क्रोध आया और प्रह्लाद को मरने का आदेश दिया । 

 जहर खिलाया , पहाड़ से फेंका , होलिका से जलवाने का प्रयास किया होलिका खुद ही चल गई पर प्रह्लाद का बाल भी वांका नहीं हुआ ,बहुत सारे प्रयत्न करने पर भी जब प्रह्लाद को कुछ भी नहीं हुआ तब हिरण्यकश्यप चिंता में पड़ गया और प्रह्लाद को फिर विद्यालय भेज दिया जाता , अब प्रह्लाद की दशा कुछ ऐसी हुई की पेड़ के नीचे बैठ जाते और प्रभु का स्मरण करते दिन - दिन भर निकल जाता ना कुछ खाते और नहीं कुछ पीते ।

 कभी शांत बैठ जाते , कभी नाचने लगते , कभी हँसते हैं तो  कभी रोने लगते , कभी अधखुली आँखों से प्रभु के चिंतन में खो जाते , प्रह्लाद सोचते हैं कितना दयालु है मेरा नारायण , में केवल उसका स्मरण करता हूँ , नाम गाता हूँ इतने पर भी वह मुझसे रीझ गया और बार बार आकर मुझे बचाया , प्रहलाद की इस दशा  को असुर बालकों ने देखा तो सबको नारायण नाम में प्रीति हो गई और सब भगवान नारायण का स्मरण करने लगे । 

 कीर्तन करने लगे , सैनिकों ने सुना की कीर्तन कहाँ हो रहा है तो आकर कीर्तन को बंद करने लगे पर जैसे ही सैनिक प्रहलाद जी को छूते हैं वह भी नाचने लगते ऐसा करेंट लगता जितने सैनिक आते सब नाचने लगते और नारायण का नाम गाने लगते । प्रह्लाद को पकड़ कर ले गए हिरण्यकश्यप नेकहन हे दुर्विनीत मंदात्मन  अपने पिता के शत्रु का स्मरण करता है तुझे जरा भी शर्म नहीं आती , कुलभेदी करधम  बता तेरा नारायण कहाँ है जिसके बल पर तू इतना दुस्साहस कर रहा की अपने पिता को भी भूल गया ।

 प्रहलाद जी कहते हैं की पिता जी वह कहाँ नहीं है आप में मेरे में सबके अंदर वही बैठा है । हिरण्यकश्यप बोला अच्छा तेरा नारायण सब जगह है तो क्या इस खंबे में भी है । हाँ पिता जी मेरा नारायण इस खंबे में भी है । इतने में    हिरण्यकश्यप ने एक मुक्का मारा और खंबा फट गया उसमें से भगवान नरसिंह निकले । बोलिए नरसिंह भगवान की जय । अपने भक्त की बात को सच्चा करने के लिए नरसिंह आ  गए  , सभा में सभी ने देखा इस विकट रूप को सब डर कर भागने लगे । 

 अब   हिरण्यकश्यप और भगवान का युद्ध होने लगा भगवान ने शाम के समय , अपनी जांघ पर लिटा कर देलही के मध्य में अपने नाखूनों से उस दैत्य को मार डाला ब्रम्हा से इसने जो जो वरदान मांगे थे भगवान ने ब्रम्हा के वचनों की लाज भी रखली और दैत्य भी मर गया । पर भगवान का क्रोध शांत न हुआ भगवान ने दैत्य की आंतों की माला गले में पहन ली और उसके आसन पर जाकर बैठ गए । तब से गद्दी का नाम सिंहासन पड़ गया । 

ब्रम्हा , शंकर , लक्ष्मी सबने आकर स्तुति की पर प्रभु का क्रोध शांत नहीं हुआ , नारद ने प्रह्लाद जी से कहा आप जाओ और प्रभु को मनाओ प्रह्लाद इन्होंने जाकर स्तुति की भगवान ने श्री प्रह्लाद जी को गोद में ले लिया और गैया , मैया दोनों का सुख देने लगे । गैया की तरह चाटते हैं तो कभी मैया की तरह गोद में लेकर लाड़ लड़ाते और प्रह्लाद से कहते - 

बोले प्रभु , प्यारे प्रिय कोमल तुम्हारे अंग असुर ने मारे मम नाम एक गाने में । 

गिरी तें  गिराय ,पुनि जल में डुबाए हाय , अग्नि में जलाय कसक राखी न सताने में ।। 

उर से लगाय - लिपटाय प्रभु बार बार , करुणा स्वरूप रहे करुणा दिखाने में । 

मंजुल मुखार विंद चूम चूम कहें प्रभु, क्षमा करो लाल मोहे देर भई आने में ।। 

प्रहलाद बोले  प्रभु सबने आकर आपकी स्तुति की पर आप किसी के द्वारा प्रसन्न नहीं हुए , मैं दैत्य कुल में उत्पन्न मेरे द्वारा आप प्रसन्न हो गए , प्रभु  आप हम पर प्रसन्न हैं तो मुझे एक वरदान  दीजिए की मेरे पिता की दुर्गति न हो । भगवान बोले प्रहलाद तुम्हारे जैसा बालक जिस कुल में जन्म लेता है उसकी 21 पीड़ियाँ तर जाति हैं फिर तुम्हारे पिता की तो बात ही क्या है , वो तो मुक्त हो ही गया , भगवान बोले प्रह्लाद मुझे तुम बहुत प्रिय हो क्योंकी -

चौ - सोई सेवक प्रियतम मम सोई , मम अनुशासन माने जोई ।। 

     नाम जपत प्रभु कीन्ह प्रसादू , भक्त शिरोमणि भए प्रहलादू  ।। 

दोहा - राज देय  प्रह्लाद को प्रभु हो गए अन्तर्धान । 

         भक्ति भक्त भगवंत की महिमा बड़ी महान ।। 

भक्ति की शक्ति के आनगे कोई किसी का कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता , बस हमारा विश्वास प्रभु के चरणों में दृढ़ होना चाहिए , फिर हमारे जीवन की सारी जिम्मेदारी प्रभु की हो जाती  है , जिसके रखवाला प्रभु बन जाए फिर उसको दुनिया की कोई भी ताकत से डरने की जरूरत नहि क्योंकी प्रभु सर्व समर्थ है , निर्बल का बल प्रभु ही हैं ।

Story - The Teacher of Remembrance Devotion -

The acharya of remembrance devotion is Shri Prahlad ji, Prahlad ji was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu, he was from the Kashyap dynasty. His father was the son of Kashyap and Diti.   This is how the story comes in the Puranas. Prahlad's father's name was Hiranyakashipu and mother Shri Kayadhu Ji, Prahlad's father hated Lord Vishnu because Lord Vishnu killed his younger brother Hiranyaksha by taking varaha avatar.

 Prahlad had three elder brothers named Hlad, Anuhlad, Sanghalad and the youngest was Shri Prahlad. Three brothers were killed by Indra. When Prahlad was in the womb, Narad ji went to his ashram with his mother Kayadhu and Prahlad received the same knowledge given to Kayadhu by Narad. Here Hiranyakashipu returned after receiving a boon from Brahma after penance and saw that Indra had killed my three sons.

Now love the youngest son Prahlad very much. Chandamark, son of Shri Shukracharya, had no use in the knowledge taught to Prahlad in the school, he enjoyed the knowledge that Narada had heard sitting in his mother's womb and kept chanting Narayan's name, a few days later Prahlad was called to the meeting by father Hiranyakashipu and asked what happened to the son, tell him in the school. 

Then Prahlad ji says, "Father, the life of the creature in whose life the green name is like an animal, all are just falling into the blind well." Just as all the blind fall into a well by holding a blind person, similarly the Lord who does not sing the name of My Narayan does not gain true knowledge and only loses his life in vain. That's why father, everyone should sing my Narayan's name. 

On hearing this, the demon King Hiranyakashipu became red with anger and called Guru Shanda Marka and said, "What kind of education have you given, you take the name of my son Narayan." Remembering the name of my enemy, Guruji said, Maharaj, we have given the same education which is given in our school, do not know from where this Prahlad learned the devotion of Narayan, Maharaj, this time forgive me, next time I will teach well. Hiranyakashyap say take it in front of me.  Prahlad ji went back to school to study. 

Today, due to the absence of Guru ji in the school, Prahlad was given the responsibility of looking after the class. Prahlad ji said, "Today I will give you such education to asura children that will make your birth successful, Prahlad ji told you about chanting God's name and remembering etc. The asura child said, "Prahlad, what are you teaching, if Maharaj comes to know, it will be a big disaster." Prahlad said, "Maharaj, when nothing can harm me, then no one can spoil all of you and he preached to the asura children in the school and started doing kirtan." 

In such a situation, Guruji came and said that if Maharaj came to know all this what is happening, then our lives will also be in danger along with you all. After some time Prahlad was called to the meeting again, father Hiranyakashipu asked what the son should read, then Prahlad recited Navadha bhakti this time, said father, this time I have learned nine ways to go to Narayan's feet, even if one of them catches one, he will get Narayan Bhagwan.  The father got very angry and ordered Prahlad to die. 

Holika went away on her own, but Prahlad's hair was also not damaged, even after a lot of efforts, when nothing happened to Prahlad, Hiranyakashipu got worried and Prahlad was sent back to school, now Prahlad's condition was such that he would sit under the tree and go out all day remembering God. Eat something and drink nothing.

 Sometimes he sits quietly, sometimes he starts dancing, sometimes he laughs, sometimes he starts crying, sometimes he gets lost in the contemplation of God with half-open eyes, Prahlad thinks how kind my Narayan is, I only remember him, I sing his name, yet he got angry with me and came again and again to save me. They began to remember. 

 When the soldiers heard where the kirtan was happening, they came and started closing the kirtan, but as soon as the soldiers touched Prahlad ji, they also started dancing. Hiranyakashyap, who captured Prahlad, remembers his father's enemy, you have no shame, tell me where is your Narayan, on the strength of which you are doing so much audacity that you have forgotten your father.

Prahlad ji says that father, where is he not, he is sitting inside all of you. Hiranyakashipu said, "Well, your Narayan is everywhere, so is it in this pillar too?" Yes, father, my Narayan is also in this pillar. In the meantime, Hiranyakashipu hit a punch and the pillar exploded, from which Lord Narasimha came out. Say 'Glory to Lord Narsingh'. Narasimha came to make his devotee's point true, everyone in the meeting saw this terrible form and everyone started running away in fear. 

Now there was a war between Hiranyakashipu and God, in the evening, God laid down on his thigh and killed the demon with his nails in the middle of Delhi. But god's anger did not subside, God put a garland of the demon's intestines around his neck and sat on his seat. Since then, the throne has been named The Throne. 

Brahma, Shankar, Lakshmi all came and praised but the anger of the Lord did not subside, Narada said to Prahlad ji, "Go and convince the Lord, Prahlad went and praised Him, God took Shri Prahlad ji in his lap and started giving happiness to both Gaia and Maiya." Sometimes he licks like a cow, sometimes he fights like a mother in his lap and tells Prahlad- 

He said, "Lord, dear dear Komal, your organ asur killed in a song called Mam." 

Fall down, dip in water, burn in fire, do not torture rakhi. 

The Lord is repeatedly wrapped up in showing compassion in the form of compassion.

Prahlad said, "Lord, everyone came and praised you, but you were not pleased by anyone, I was born in the demon family, you were pleased with me, Lord, you are happy with us, so give me a boon so that my father does not suffer." God said, "Prahlad, the family in which a child like you is born, has 21 generations, then what is the matter with your father, he has become free, God said Prahlad, I love you very much because -

No one can harm anyone with the power of devotion, only our faith should be firmly at the feet of God, then all the responsibility of our life becomes that of God, whose keeper becomes Lord, then he does not need to fear any power in the world because God is all powerful, the power of the weak is God.
